Food of The Koryo Dynasty (918 CE-1392 CE)

The Koryo Dynasty has seen the historical feat of unifying the entire Korean peninsula (only to be ruined after WWII), under the reign of Wang Geon. After unification, Koryo adopted Confucianism as its political ideology. Buddhism also exerted significant influence on Koryo society as a whole. In the early 13th century, the Mongols conquered the Korean peninsula and several invasions occurred many times between 1231 CE to 1259 CE.
